Best workout plan
Want a full abdominal workout plan that you can do in only 20 minutes? This need not be difficult. A 20 minute workout of the right kind of exercises can transform a sagging, bulging belly into a solid wall of protective muscle.
Many of these exercises start from the same starting position. This is good in allowing you to do several different exercises in rapid succession, or you can mix it up if you want to and add in other exercises to a give your abdominals a rest. To begin, simply lie on your back on the floor, legs together, hands at your sides.
1. In the first exercise you merely bring each knee up alternately so that it almost touches your chest. Lower it backed down and repeat with the other leg.
2. In the second variation you alternately bring each leg up so that the foot is pointing towards the ceiling, but you keep the leg straight while doing so.
3. For the next variation, bring both legs up together at the same time, keeping them straight
4. The Flutter Kick. You raise each foot only a few inches off the floor and then lower at while raising the other foot to the same height. Repeat alternately. The movement is something like swimming.
5. For this variation, you bend the legs while keeping them together, then bring them up so that the knees almost touch the chest.
6. You raise your legs up to a right angle and describe a circle with each foot at the same time. In other words, you make circles in the air with your feet.
7. The Simple Situp. Lying on your back, with your legs bent, knees together, and feet flat on the floor, and with your hands clasped behind your head, you bring your torso up so far that you can put your head between your knees. Slowly lower yourself back down again. While this does work the hip flexors to some degree, it is still an important part of a full abdominal workout plan and it should not be neglected.
8. Crunches. You assume the same starting position as the situp, but this time you raise only your upper back off the floor while powerfully contracting the abdominals.
