Ways to build muscle

The best way to build muscle fast is through Isometric Contraction exercises. That's my personal testimony. And I've tried weight lifting and other methods. I'll discuss weight training and isometrics, and of course, tell you my personally preferred method -- and why.

Weight training...

It does work, and there are some benefits to it: with weight training, you train with others (if at a gym), so there is a motivational factor, if you are inspired by that. Also, you will have to exercise your muscles with a certain power (to lift your 100 lb. weight, you'll have to apply 100 lbs. of pressure).

the downside to weight training: you'll need a plan that tends to be very complex. Also, with the movements required, the chance of injuries tend to be great. If you don't perform the movements correctly (and even when you do), you can injure yourself. Many people have hurt their backs, knees, and other "moving parts" during weight training routines.

Isometric Contraction...

This is my method of choice. I only need to exercise 10-15 minutes a day, every day. the system is simple, and straight forward.

The gains are unbelievable: Now, when I say that I mean it in a couple of ways. On the one hand, the workouts are deceptively quick and simple. But after only a few days, I could see an increase in muscle size and tone in the mirror.

And another thing about isometrics, is that I don't hurt my back or knees. The workout takes only 10-15 minutes (and that's working out the whole body). And this is truly sustainable for the rest of my life: I can continue this routine till I'm 100 years old! Can weight trainers say the same?

So, as you can tell, my experience bears out that isometric contraction is the best way to build muscle fast. Actually, many mediocre weight-trainers have used isometrics to catapult themselves into top bodybuilding shape!
